Hello everybody!!!
I hadn’t written here for a long time, but now I’m doing it again. Today I’ll write about a video, it’s called “Do schools kill the creativity?” by Sir Ken Robinson. We watched the video of him conference in class, and we have to write about his speech and all we think is more and less interesting.
I have to comment about the title of the video. I don’t think it is true everywhere, but some educational systems in fact kill the creativity of the people (when I say people I don’t mean just students, also teacher and administrative charges).   Nowadays is so hard to us think in a kind of school that doesn’t putt limits to child, but I’d read about countries like Denmark how has had a lot of improves and innovations in their educational systems and they has got a lot of goods showing. In our schools is easier see that, in Chile our schools are control by the market’s laws. The competition is the most important think here, and creativity, cooperation don’t. Here is just important productivity but isn’t thinking about we are doing.  I think Ken Robinson is right in this points but I add other actors from the school.
The mains demonstrations in Chile, sometimes just ask for materials thinks, and it doesn’t ask about what kind of education we want, I think is important deepen in this topics.

See you next week.

Santiago

Hi everyone!
After two weeks, I come back to write about a new topic, it’s my perspective or vision of Santiago. I believe it´s really important think about the places we live, because you could do something to change the place.
I live in Santiago since always, and I know very well this city. I like Santiago, because is a big city, you can found everything here, the smaller cities or towns sometimes are really boring, this haven’t something to do. Here you can always do something fun or interesting. This is nice, but the cities have so much problem, all this good things are accompanied by some troubles. I think the most important problems of Santiago are the pollution, the crowd, the traffic, the noises sounds, etc.  I really hate this. The life here could be a mess.
If I could change some things about this city, I will take out a lot of peoples and I put this persons in other cities, after that I make a better transport mean, to improve the life quality. And finally I will make to the industries get down the levels of pollution.
And if a foreign guy come here to Santiago, I would say him:   go to visit the hills, the museums, and parks, but  don´t go out late in the night, because, it can be dangerous. In winter Santiago is beautiful after a rain, but if don’t rain is so ugly, full of pollution. In summer is so nice, but it’s very hot. So, other places of Chile are more beautiful, won´t come to Santiago.
Bye, see you next Monday.
